The Capricorn and The Fish

This series on AstroCompatibility will cover all of the potential matchups in the Zodiac. We will continue this series thinking about and commenting on Pisces and Capricorn.

Capricorn - Pisces

Pisces is Water and Mutable. Capricorn is Earth and Cardinal. As we contemplate how two generally unalike individuals can be attracted to and magnetized by each other; perhaps the Neptune-ruled Pisces and the Saturn-dominated Capricorn are the best examples of signs that are not very much in tune with one another in their basic approaches to life, but have compelling, almost wonderfully magical effects on one another. When the Capricorn arises in the morning, they have a list that drops in front of them, quite conveniently and almost unconsciously, this list starts activating the Capricorn with marvelous precision. They are methodical high achievers. They are not list-bound like a myopic obsessive compulsive; they are tied to their agenda. Small items, big deals, long range plans, short range plans, important meetings, essential lunches; the tiny, the large and the in between are all in their daily, weekly and monthly plans. Imagine what this does to the Goat. They are climbing a mountain of ambition. This ascent that they know they are on, makes them feel like they are always under pressure. After all, they are always on the side of the cliff. Other signs don't have to be on the mountain, scaling the heights. They, by virtue of Saturn's relentless message, are always putting toe to hole on the big gray slab of slate they are holding on to.

Pisces can feel pressure too. Not the pressure of a task master, but the pressure of a Magic Shaman always bidding them to go into unusual states. The worlds that they are compelled to explore are so shapeless and vast that the physical world can sometimes act like a pretty comfortable place. Pisces can feel like they are on drugs when they are as sober as a judge. When the Fish faces each new day, they are not exactly sure what might happen to the Head, Heart and Soul that day. It may not be extremely dramatic, but it can be wistful, whimsical, depressing, exalting or transforming. It is a challenge being a Pisces. So, we take a look at these two individuals and we see what might be an answer for both. Think relief. Think peace. Think respite. A Pisces can be soothed by the physical comfort and security that Saturn provides. Like a warm sweater on a chilly night, they can come home to the structured shape of a well put together home. Capricorn longs for the relief to be care free. The person who is not constantly bound, feels absolute liberation just being with someone who is never bound the way they are. They don't have to live in Pisces' head; they can just feel the sedating quality of the Fish who swims wherever they want to. When these two meet, they do not think about all of these wonderments, but when they like each other, they can discover that they love each other. When they make each other smile, they can discover that they make each other laugh. As this discovery process continues, it can develop into the kind of relationship that people dream about having. This is not the case for every such coupling necessarily, but the possibility lies there tantalizingly close and possible, if their hearts declare it to be.

Positive Postulate: The Fish and The Goat would be very present, and in the moment - a couple that might appear to be oddly matched, but then after speaking with them, you could see the harmony speaking to you. The Capricorn is a little more relaxed than it might otherwise be. The Pisces is a little more structured and more immediately in the moment than other Pisces. The positive postulate with this union is that they would be more even; just as personable and balanced.

Romance Recommendation: Romance contains many elements, but especially the psychic and the physical. Both the Fish and the Goat will probably discover new ways of feeling and being in the romantic state. They should emphasize their differences and appreciate them. Easy soulful appreciation would be anticipated.

Conflict Quotient: Capricorn can protect its well thought out and logical points of view. Pisces can come from many angles, but not really contend at a level that the Capricorn can, if emotionally motivated. Pisces could be hurt if treated angrily, and then take off on a swim. This is the kind of response that neither wants.

Peace Parlay: Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: " Can we be bored together over the long term? " Pisces can stop in the middle of a murky underwater cave and inhabit it for a bit. Boredom could take over. But a second later they could be streaming along the surface. Capricorn has got so much spinning in their head, that boredom would not be a problem.

Keep Up The Interest Graph: Capricorn could spend an inordinate amount of time immersed in the business of life and its many details, that these days tend to keep us preoccupied. Pisces interest might lead it in places that Capricorn would not consider to be profitable or significant. Interest with these two would consist of just getting their schedules together and trying new and different things.

Seven Year Itchiness: There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. Pisces, if damaged by the relationship, could swim into foreign waters. If they are quite happy, neither Capricorn nor Pisces should fear this as a tendency.

RATING: ASTROCOMPATIBILITY POSSIBILITY RATING: 65% Positive Long Term - 75% Short Term . For short term relationships, their unlikely meeting would probably coalesce in a quixotic get together. Long term, they would explore all of those interesting ways they could make each other feel, and then embrace their mutual longings for the mystery of love, based upon the soulful gifts that can be provided to each other.
