How To Get Along – Virgo and Libra

The Virgin and the Scales

This series on AstroCompatibility will cover all of the potential matchups in the Zodiac. We will continue this series thinking about and commenting on Virgo and Libra.

Virgo - Libra

Libra is Air and Cardinal. Virgo is Earth and Mutable. The Libra and Virgo share the sentiment that the world could be ordered better with their contributions. Libra’s belief is more outwardly optimistic, and they forge their mental plans on the level of organization, logic and strong historically validated sensibilities. As the only inanimate signs of the zodiac, they would gain the energy of the Virgin’s youthful outlook and vitality. The Libra and Virgo getting along would look generally like Libra leading and Virgo following. Or that is how Libra would try to direct it. The gentility of Virgo, its warmth and sweetness would appeal to the Scales. Then of course, Virgo’s agenda would manifest itself. Nothing so extreme, just that Libra would have to adjust to the constantly improving schedule and continuing critical ways that Virgo would generate.

Libra, as time goes on, and they like each other more and more could start to make new plans and create more unassailable logic. “You follow and I will be the class outer PR agent of our company, union, association, marriage. Libra is the Interior Designer of the Zodiac, made for beauty and balance and the right look for their world. They want things to be mastered and pretty and “feng shued”. Along comes the efficient Virgo and seeks continuity in life. The stage is set in a perfectly Libra plot. “I can use Virgo and make my and Virgo’s world even better by a more balanced of use of us both.” This is not an evil plot. The Virgin is indeed a natural servant, and the Libra is a natural planner. It’s just the way things would tend to evolve. The cosmic irony is that neither the Libran’s view nor the Virgo’s idea is possible. The perfectibility that each sees happening is not going to happen; but that being so, they can both end up giving help to each other. Libra beautifies the Virgo need for not so much messiness. Virgo picks up the pieces for the disillusioned Libra who is never going to get that utter balance that they daily seek. So, all is well for these two.

Positive Postulate: The positives for these two will always be apparent. Virgin sweetness, Libra politeness. Virgo neatness, Libran manners. Virgo may toss and turn at night, and Libra might be always going back and forth inside, but they will not look bad. They will carry off a public life and an external demeanor that would be the envy of many. The optimism of both, their essential optimism, will carry them together in a very fit and together way. The company, union, marriage, association could not be more blessed than to have two that truly embody the agenda of fixing, mending and balancing.

Romance Recommendation: Virginal innocence works well with romance, but Libran relaxation about romance can loosen up Virgo’s tense ways. The art of romance is where Virgo can learn too. It is hard to make love perfect off an instructional manual. To be sure there are things to learn from manuals, but they must learn that there is much more than carrying it off because the right technique was employed. Virgo can learn that soulfulness and grace and beauty and ease are a part of the human experience and especially the human experience, in the act of Love. Libra will also have to lose its grip on the absolute ideal. Bringing Virgo into their world of romance will make their sharing more human and kind and gentle. They both have much to lend each other.

Conflict Quotient: Debate cannot be the main theme in arguments. Virgin criticalness can eat away at the Libran’s sense of self esteem; and Libran’s sense of superiority will chip away at Virginal innocence. Both of these exist in a sense of rightness, so they should care for each other when things get heated. These do not roar or get emotionally overwrought in conflict. They should keep their poise when angry. When criticism bares its teeth, it can undermine more than it builds. The continual raining and pouring of criticism can have a much too destructive effect, than is really intended.

Peace Parlay: Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: " Can we be bored together over the long term? " Virgo will seldom feel bored. Libra can lose its sense of animation if things quiet way down, but Virgo should provide help in this regard. Both of these signs can keep an eye on the horizon above their personal agendas, which can tend to be myopic.

Keep Up The Interest Graph: Physical possessions can keep Libran life interesting. The adornment that our materialistic culture provides can make sure this couple has nice things for keeping interest alive. They certainly will have enough issues for “making things right”, but outer beauty does not hurt.

Seven Year Itchiness: There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. 7 year itchiness is not something that Virgo would every openly admit to. Libra, while always intrigued by pleasure would view this as creating an imbalance and ruing the dignity of their relationship.
