Standing like a porcelain beautiful doll amongst the humans and beasts in our astro sphere, here on earth, is the Libra. Yes, they do have faults, but their serene stellar bright enthralling selves stand, and move, and speak in an extraordinary way that you can see in every grace-filled Libra, if you look long enough.
Am I too excessive? Well, in this realm, the exterior plays a gigantic role. Let’s say Libra is gigantic on the exterior – beauty, balance, form – the image.
Put Julio Iglesias and Bruce Springsteen together. They both perfectly embody what they say they are. Tones that are rich, feeling that is deep and classic looks that seem to say “I am what I am”. These too men look up to the stars and draw some image that bespeaks man in balance, man who does not need outer support. These two understand their message, and know exactly how they want to deliver it. And then they deliver.
Michael Douglas, Cheryl Tiegs and Christopher Reeve
Michael Douglas’ carved out handsomeness allows him to play a kind of cool and retaliatory role. It is as if, his outer says: “I present nothing to fear”. And then sure enough, his insides disclose a more dangerous image. Cheryl Tiegs, the first super model looks as if she were cut out by an artist who wanted to present the premiere smiling nubile female. If you had not known who was going to be the ultimate “Clark Kent”, it is sure one would pick Chris Reeve. He was both Clark and Superman, like the artist drew first what he would end up embodying. The classically cut angularity of the perfect Libra is pretty hard not to be amazed at.
Barbara Walters, Heather Locklear and Catherine Zeta Jones
How come Barbara the Reporter has lasted so long? Because she is a nice Libra reporter with manners and politeness, and even some corny questions thrown in there, so people can’t get too offended. Heather Locklear looks like she will be 25 until the day she dies, and Catherine Zeta Jones walks with the graceful and athletic style of her Libra husband Michael Douglas. One of the reasons that Libra’s are attractive and fun is because you can tell they are walking a quality path. Maybe they are beset with faults and unusual character aspects, but still they seem to be on a journey for which they bought a ticket.
Pope Paul VI, James Caviezel and George Gershwin
They wanted to make him a saint before he even died. That’s what you call popularity. He balanced it all. He embodied it all. If he has a critic, there is something wrong with the critic. At least that’s how the crowd sees it. Pope Paul VI consciously, methodically and deliberately put in all the moves that a Pope should have, and then he had his humor and his foreign languages, and his urbane qualities. James Caviezel - Who could play Jesus? Only a guy who was Libra-like. Balanced, seeing things afar off; putting the thousand mile look out there, and filling it with cool love. You can see how Libran images coalesce. And oh, that elegant George Gershwin composing classical tunes that will live forever. The beauty and structure of his songs is oh so Libran and oh so American!
The Lack of Libras?
Some say they lack soul and inner contemplation. Some say they are somewhat heartless and a little like an artificial pretty doll. But those are images conjured up by the critic. It is only the individual Libra who can answer to their loved ones and their god just who they are and who they wish to be. They say they are the best love makers in the zodiac. Who knows? It is true they have great balance and rhythm and know the importance of the language of music.
Libras, they say are inwardly inanimate. This means they need to draw fire and life from their partners – the humans and beasts of the rest of the zodiac. Maybe that’s true. If there is someone to settle things down and soften the wind, maybe they are utterly necessary!
