5 Planets in Libra: A Sweet Week Has Come ‘Round the Bend

This Week There Will Be So Much Compromise and Peacemaking Going On, You’ll Get Sick of it!
New Moon in Libra
This is a big one! The new moon takes place early in the morning (US) at 4 degrees Libra September 27.
It will be part of a large stellium that includes the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. That’s a lot of Libra! This “stellium” is an astronomical term for a grouping of planets that in relation to the earth’s Point of View all line up in one sign for a certain period of time. As time passes, they “uncluster” because of the relative speed of each planet and of course, Earth’s speed and movement.
If you are “On the Outs” with Someone and/or a Generally Irritable Soul
This might be the time to hide your angst, slap a smile on your face; pretend you are swimming in a sea of bliss, bounce along merrily like Shirley Temple and benefit from this Stellium.
Now, if you are a Generally Irritable Soul, you will have lots of dense curtains which hide you from the Light. This is what makes Generally Irritable Souls. So don’t worry, this week is not going to change you. But oh, what a chance to make a Show of Diplomacy! Just for the sake of hard bitten smarts, do something positive or peace-making and win some badly needed points for your relationship or reputation.
You can always go back and be yourself, just by waking up next week in your usual unhappy state, but this could be the week to sneak back into a winning situation just by being coyly positive.
And if You Don’t Believe in Any of this Stupid Starry Stuff, or Think its Demonic – Be Sweet Anyway!
As my “Jewish Mother” – a friend of the family on W76th Street in the City, would say with her palms open and her eyebrows arched, – “It Couldn’t Hurt (Hoyt).”
To some, it will be sickeningly sweet to watch all the compromise and peacemaking going on. But this force is so strong and the focus so narrow, even if you hate veneer and loathe co-dependence, you're likely to see that social grace, rules and cooperation are called for at this time.
Put Off Your Plans to Invade Caledonia
Getting along with others is so important in this time frame; it dwarfs other plans, like invading Caledonia, or having that face-to-face with your difficult boss. You simply must find a way to work and play well with others. Don’t let the air out of your neighbor’s kid’s tires until next week. For those of you who are impossible, and you know who you are, don’t be surprised if you are rejected even more quickly than you usually are. This particular stellium will emanate a kind of “clubby atmosphere” and people are, at best, going to drift away from a sourpuss attitude.
“An Olive Branch”
To fare well, be willing to receive an olive branch if someone decides to offer one, because odds are, it will be a solid offer. Go over that idea with a little relish. Contemplate, even, what that solid offer might be. Let your imagination wind around a sucrose-soaked vision. Kind of like: It describes one person graciously accepting what another person offers as opposed to one person beating or otherwise badgering another person into offering something they really don't want to give.
On the flip side if you are feeling pressure to repair a relationship you may have damaged, this would be an excellent time to take responsibility and offer an apology or make some kind of amends. But there are lines here.
Note to the Generally Irritable Soul: Don't go bothering someone you know doesn't want anything to do with you. If having contact with you will not benefit the other person, you have a responsibility to restrain yourself. Stay out of there zip code. People who are GIS’s generally have their own weather patterns with old enemies.
People who think in terms of reciprocity will thrive this week. To be fair is in vogue. Efforts to work in partnership towards a mutually agreed upon goal will almost certainly be successful.
You may or may not be someone who enjoys working with others but whoever you are, if you invest in a relationship this week a benefit is almost guaranteed. For those of you who are going to be extra negative just to prove astrology wrong, my hunch is you will succeed at creating the distance and separation you seek. The determined will has its own power.
When You Are Dealing with a Benefic
A benific is a construct that has positive power emanating from it. When you feel encouraged, you will be encouraged. This in itself is a positive. I would liken it to tumbling down a snowy hill, when all the kids have smiles on their faces, and even if they tip and lose their sleds or their saucers, they keep rolling down the hill with glee. In other words, as they say: “It’s all good!”
There are persons that are personal “Benefics”. You could probably name a few in your life. You yourself would probably be named a “Benefic” by certain friends or loved ones. A secret: the more you try to be a benefic to others, the more of those kinds of influence will come your way.
The time of this stellium might be a great time to see yourself in a larger more positive role to others with whom you might have been shy, reticent or inhibited. There is no telling what a nice “falling down the snowy hill” you might get as you throw old manacles off, and spin a new dance on your merry heels and snappy fingers pointed skyward.
